HOLY SPIRIT GUIDANCE

How can we go wrong, if the Holy Spirit literally indwells within our body? We can't! There is nothing too big or too hard in life to handle, from this perspective! When you become a believer of Jesus Christ, you ask for forgiveness of sins and accept the gift that God the Father has given us: His Son's death and ressurection. Jesus paid for our sins - He bore all sins of our past, present and future! Not only did He do this for us, but He left behind a Comforter: the Holy Spirit. We will never be alone again!

The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus Christ and renews the life of the sinner when he becomes a believer in the salvation of Christ. He baptizes the believer into the body of Christ.

The Holy Spirit indwells, instructs, intercedes, fills, comforts, guides and empowers. The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment.

After Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead on the third day, He spent time on earth speaking to Mary and to the Apostles. He told them that He was not leaving them alone even though He was ascending to heaven to His Father. He gave us great comfort and hope, because He left us the Holy Spirit. A person of God - one of the Trinity - to indwell in us as saved Christians! It is am amazing thought to realize that the Holy Spirit lives inside us - and all that He is capable of, in helping us to live a life pleasing to the Father.

If you don't know how to pray and are too overwhelmed, the Holy Spirit will actually intercede for you and groan on your behalf.

Romans 8:11

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Romans 8:26

Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Ro 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Acts 2:17

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: Ac 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Romans 15:13

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

1 Corinthians 6:19

What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
