JESUS' COMMANDMENTS

We do not know the exact day or hour that Jesus will return.
We do know the timetable and certain events that must happen first.
So, we do know when He is coming, just not the exact day and hour.
In end times, we don't have a lot of time left to do our jobs.

We also know what Jesus commands.
Jesus didn’t give us advice. He gave us commandments.

Love your God (worship Him)
Love yourself (God loves you)
Love your neighbor (love includes compassion and work)
Watch and pray (pay attention and give all things to God)
Preach the Gospel to every creature (Jesus was born and died for us)

We don't have a lot of time to share the Gospel to the lost. God desires a relationship with us. He wants us to be saved and to spend eternity with him. He wants us to love His Son who died for our sins.

Scriptural love is a tender love, but a just and tough love. Love yourself, but don’t be selfish or lie to yourself. Love your Father in Heaven, but don’t pretend or halfway do it. Love your neighbors, but don’t do it once a year or think text messages count.

There are many more commandments. Study the Bible!
You must be born again. Forgive when you pray. Be a light to all men. Don't rise up against the enemy, but pray for your enemy so that he might be saved and see God in you. (If an evil criminal is trying to kill your family you will respond to protect your loved ones. God does not want all of His sheep to be slaughtered by people trying to kill them.) (He didn't say to be weak. He said to be strong. A strong man prays for enemies because he serves the only God who can do wondrous things beyond imagination!) Don't pray or fast to be seen as a great person by others. Don't worry about tomorrow.

Do not look down on new believers that are like children.
Many Christians tend to be finger pointers because it makes them feel superior. That is sinful. If there is a sin that must stop in the church then it is discussed with love and not an air of superiority. (Jesus said to receive the kingdom of God as a little child or we can't enter in.)

Matthew 22:37-39

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Luke 21:36

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Matthew 24:14-15

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Mark 13:10-11

And the gospel must first be published among all nations. 11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

James 2:5-13

Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? 6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? 7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called? 8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: 9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. 10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. 13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

Mark 16:15-18

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Mark 13:32-37

But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. 33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is. 34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. 35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

John 3:3

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Matthew 18:10

Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

Luke 18:15-17

And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them. 16 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
