FUTURE GOALS Watch and pray. Make a plan and get organized. Figure out your priorities. Are you questioning your priorities? God, family, job, money, neighbors, church, etc. What is number one on your list? If God is number one on your list, then the rest will come easily. He will protect you, if you follow Him and His leading. To survive in all situations, for as long as possible, doing the most amount of good that we can do is vital. We need to share the Gospel with everyone we can, to help them get prepared. If we live in the countryside, we can gather proper equipment and supplies, and get educated on gardening, hunting, and water purification. We can live off the land. If we live in the cities, we can have a neighborhood group to create a plan and store supplies. Having a Plan B for each lifestyle is also important. Maybe city people will need to go to the countryside. Maybe people in the countryside will need to bug out. To leave a home for a safe location would be really difficult. A bug-out bag, for everyone, is important. By giving thought to these ideas, proactively, we have the luxury of time to prepare. Reactively, we could make mistakes and not have what we need for our future. If we think of scenarios of what might happen, we can plan for viable, functional solutions. Our goals need to change. For some, spending money on materialistic things is not really a good idea at the moment. Learning to repair items will educate us and help us spend less money. Growing food and learning to preserve it will be a good skill. Can we remember what our grandmothers taught us? We need printed materials with safe instruction. The food preservation supplies also run low and we can't find them when we need them. We have to get things in advance, and on sale, if possible. We aren't talking about hoarding all at once, we are talking about buying a little extra of everything every single time we shop. This is prepping. If money is not useful, trading will be. What will people consider valuable? If we have those items, we can trade for things that we need. Are we about tobe forced to live in a subculture, or suffer an attack from a foreign nation, or get attacked by terrorists from within, or are we about to go to war? Life is much more complilcated than the distraction of current society and who likes us on social media or who doesn't. It isn't about fashion or looking perfect in a selfie. None of that will really matter, if the future gets really crazy really fast. Proactively plan for your future.
