MINDSET OF COMMITMENT

You are a child of God. You have faith like a small child. That is all you need.

It is a simple point of view in an overcomplicated world. However, God can use the person with the faith of a child. Make up your mind that you will study God's Word, listen to the Holy Spirit when He speaks, and be thankful for the salvation Christ provided you. Use the gifts God gave you and believe that He will protect you and use you, to do wonderful things in this world!

Choose one side between holy and sinful. There is no middle ground. There is either good or there is evil. This is a decision between you and your Father in Heaven. It isn't up for discussion with any other person. It isn't subject to approval by any other person. When life is over, it will be between you and your Father in Heaven. Just the two of you in those moments will be so interconnected, and one in God's grace and love. If that is how it ends, then why can't we have that every day? Why can't we live each day so connected to our Father in Heaven that we ask Him about every choice and everything we do?

If we have the mindset to be so connected to God, then we will do nothing without Him. We will ask, and we will wait for answers - and we will see confirmation. We will love and be Christlike. We will obey. If the Holy Spirit leads us to do something outside our comfort zone, we will do it to the best of our ability. We won't wait, because the urging of the Holy Spirit is strong and we will feel tormented. With a joyful heart, we will follow what God leads us to do. We don't need to influence the world or millions of people. If we just help to lead one poor soul to Jesus' salvation, isn't that enough in this life?

Luke 18:16-17

Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. 17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.

1 John 2:1-2

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 Thessalonians 2:13

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

2 Timothy 3:15-17

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

John 14:26

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 16:13-14

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

James 1:14-15

But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Jeremiah 17:7-8

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. 8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Romans 12:2

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

2 Corinthians 5:17-18

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

Mark 16:15-16

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10

For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
