GOD’S PLAN
FOR FORGIVENESS
God designed a plan so we can be forgiven of our sins and can be saved from damnation. We do not need to fear eternal separation from Him.
Once we are saved, we cannot be lost. By God’s grace, if we become saved, we will not ever be lost. Be encouraged.

Jn 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
Jn 10:28 I and my Father are one.
Jn 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Jn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Jn 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Jn 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

the Holy Spirit lives within us. This is awesome! With the power of God in our lives, we can do great things!
We are no longer bogged down in the mire of feeling unworthy, trapped by the guilt that is so overwhelming we break down when remembering our sins! We don't need to cry over past sins, or be devastated by present sins or dread future sins - Jesus paid for them all on the cross! We are not to recount old sins. If we see a present sin we are to repent and ask for God's strength to immediately stop the behavior and we are to live in a way that helps us avoid future sins.
We are new creatures in Christ and we are free because we are forgiven! We are born again Christians! Being free, we can also be bold for God's kingdom and share God's love and salvation through Jesus Christ! Being forgiven by grace, we are no longer subject to the curse for breaking God's laws. We can each now enjoy the gifts God will bestow upon us!
We all sin and all need forgiveness. The only man who did not sin was Jesus Christ, God's Son. God sent His Son to die on the cross as payment for ALL of our sins, so that we can be assured of eternity with our Heavenly Father - read more about salvation!
Forgiveness is such a wonderful blessing. Once we are saved by accepting this gift from God - we understand it is not because we earned it or deserve it - it is by God's grace that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to die for each of us. All we have to do is accept this gift and ask Christ into our hearts as our personal saviour! From that moment on we will be changed. Our lives will be transformed!
Understanding Forgiveness
Once we are saved, we need to truly understand what forgiveness is - the true depth of the word and how it affects each of our lives. We know God the Father loves us,
and Jesus Christ died for us and
Past, Present
and Future
SINS FORGIVEN!
We all have sinned and compared to other people we might think our sins are simply unforgivable - or we might feel that we haven't sinned as much as our neighbor. We might on a daily basis feel sad or stressed or upset with ourselves for such sinful behaviour. Or, we might not care too much about our sins because we feel like life has treated us badly and we were justified in our actions. We might think of our sins and really not care what we are doing wrong, have done wrong or plan to do wrong.
No matter what the case is, we pretty much know right from wrong and understand we are sinners. We can also be blind to our wrongdoings - guilty of iniquity. What a scary thought it is - that we are upsetting God and living separate from Him in our lives. We can only grasp how devastating it truly is, when we consider the fact that if we were to die in this condition we would be damned and separated from the Father for all eternity!
As human beings, we can't be perfect and God knows this. He gave us free will to make life choices and knows we have a sinful nature.
We must understand that God desperately wants a relationship with us, but as sinners we can't have a relationship with Him! He is holy and cannot tolerate ANY sin.
As unforgiven sinners, we are not righteous and we are not free from the punishing curse of sin. The curse of sin includes poverty, failure and sickness.

From Forgiveness
to Faith, Hope
and Love
When we are forgiven, we become empowered to travel a path in faith, growing in hope and sharing God's love! We are in a safe harbor and we are a beacon for others to follow. We have no fear, because God the Father loves us and wants only the best for our lives!
1Jn 4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
1Jn 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
1Jn 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
1Jn 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
1Jn 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.
2Co 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
2Co 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Ro 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Ro 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

WE HAVE
TO CHOOSE
Not Choosing -
IS a Choice...
Our Father in Heaven gives us every opportunity to choose Him - or to choose to have more interest in our idols to worship, instead. Idols can be money, our jobs, our loves, our obsessions - anything that distracts us from our relationship with our Heavenly Father.
In life we don't seem to always be able to choose white or black, we end up living this life that is in the middle - a little gray. God doesn't want part of us - He wants all of us. The choice is black and white. Choosing to live according to our Heavenly Father's
guidelines... or choosing to live the way of the world under the influence of
Satan. It is not that hard to decide to do what God asks of us, really. But
Satan is happy just to make sure our lives lack in accomplishment for the Lord.
If Satan can distract us and ensure that we are separated from God, he is happy. Every day we have to recognize this battle and choose to do what would please the Lord.
