Finding Faith, Hope and Happiness
in a World of Financial, Moral and Spiritual Decline |
There isn’t a lot in life that we can do to relax our bodies, refresh our minds and restore our souls. We can feel overwhelmed and lost.
Is that a true statement? Are we forsaken or abandoned along some desolate road through life - while the world passes us by? It can feel that way sometimes.
We keep looking for heroes and leaders – and someone to follow. We look for someone to follow who will lead us to peace, love, fellowship, salvation and safety. But there is no man who can fulfill all those needs. There is no earthly man who can answer the questions, save us from damnation and recapture our ever-fleeting

peace of mind. We ask ourselves - whom should we trust?
There are some men who are bold deceivers, and they provide a big distraction or a small amount of relief from the stresses we encounter.
If we try to find relief for our stress, whether it be physical, mental, financial or spiritual, we need to be looking in the right places for help.
God the Father loves us and wants us to have the best possible life while we are here in this world. Only Jesus understands us and knows what we truly need. He left us a Comforter when He left this world. He knew we would need help that was beyond any simple man's ability to provide.

Jeremiah 1:4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Jeremiah 1:6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
Jeremiah 1:7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
Jeremiah 1:8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 1:9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
Jeremiah 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
King James Version
As born again Christians, we are called to stand for our beliefs, to share the Gospel and bring Glory to God.
