GOD GIVES US STRENGTH
We can do great things through Christ our Lord. God uses all things for good. We can't worry about adversity.
If we pray to do good things by the power of the Holy Spirt and in Christ's name, for God's glory - how can we go wrong? We must act on our faith!
WHAT CAN I DO?
If we ask God what we can do, He will answer. You have
to think about your personality, your skills and your life. What are you best suited to do? What are your natural gifts or divine gifts? Everyone has abilities. Ask yourself what you are willing to do. We have to prioritize our life and
decide what is most important. If we surrender to God's will, instead of our
own will, He can use each and everyone of us for His purpose!

Watch Out for Deceivers
When you attend church, support an organization or join a group, be sure to do some research on their beliefs. Be sure that the people you work with are adhering to the Word of God. Test everything with Scripture. What are the "fruits" of their work?
Be Firm in Your Beliefs
You have basic spiritual fundamentals that you believe. Be sure that you compare those to the environment you are working in and you are associated with. Stand for Christ. If you see a falling away or a conflict of beliefs with basic Christian values, then you will have to take a stand. You can discuss your observations and principles. You may have to walk away from that environment which is contrary to your beliefs. Sometimes you have to work all alone on something. We have to be strong enough to work alone if we need to.
Stand with Israel and the Jewish People
We are to stand with, pray for and support Israel. God said He would bless those who bless Israel - and curse those who curse Israel. God has great plans for the nation of Israel and the Jewish people. Today, the nation and the citizens suffer and need our compassion. We must pray for peace. see how you can help, click here.
Love Your Neighbor
A very simple work for the Lord is to help our neighbors. We need to be watchful for their suffering, their needs, their spiritual desires and their problems. If someone is sick, you can cook a meal and deliver it to their home. If someone has unruly teens, you can ask the teen to go fishing. If a single mom needs a break, you can offer to babysit. If a senior is alone, you can invite them over for coffee. Love your neighbor as yourself. Every act of kindness is compassionate and Christ-like.
Know Your Enemy
Satan uses deception, he uses pride and he uses weaker vessels. He attacks those who try to do good for God. We must be strong, studying the word and watchful for Satan's attack. We must know what to expect as a soldier for God. Expect to be persecuted and know how to withstand that attack.
Study the Word
Read the Scriptures every day. Devotionals are great, but reading the Bible is the most important tool you can use on a daily basis. Arm yourself with the Word of God. Pray for understanding. Take time to have quiet time to talk to God and to listen to Him.
