WHAT IS THE GOOD NEWS?
What did Jesus tell us to do?
WE ARE NOT UNDER CONDEMNATION
We are free from the curse pronounced for breaking the laws of the old covenant God first set up with Moses. We don’t transfer our transgressions of the law onto a sacrificial animal to cleanse us and earn favor with God. We don’t suffer the curses of pain, sickness, failure and poverty for breaking the commandments. Jesus was the sacrifice for all sin under the new covenant. This means we live an abundant life, free from sin, pain, disease and failure. Jesus Christ did it all for us and this was a gift from God. There are no “conditions” or “laws” as a requirement for salvation.
WE ARE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD
If we are made righteous and can have fellowship with God, then there is no sin in our spirit or heart. God can’t tolerate any sin – not small nor large sin. So, we are perfected and righteous. We do not live under any condemnation. As such, we live each day in a manner we are proud of, and if we sin, we know Christ paid the price for that sin. By the power of the Holy Spirit we are able to live in a manner that gives glory to God. Our souls which are our will, intellect and emotion are a work in progress. But we cannot think of ourselves unworthy, dragging our past sins around in guilt - like a ball and chain! We are worthy as Christ died for us because God loves us! We are perfected through Christ and are the righteousness of God! We are each God's pearl of great price.
THE HOLY SPIRIT LIVES WITHIN US
The trinity refers to the three parts of God. God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit. Before Christ ascended to heaven the Father’s right hand, He told us He would not leave us because God would provide a comforter. The comforter is the Holy Spirit and He lives within us. Christ lives within us after we accept God’s gift of salvation! The power of the Holy Spirit guides and directs our lives and enables us to use the gifts we possess.
BELIEVING AND SHARING GOOD NEWS
Jesus said to share the gospel with others – with Jews and Gentiles. The word gospel means “good news”. The world condemns and does not accept Christianity as good news. The world trains us from childhood into adulthood to deny, mistrust and reject God’s Word in the Bible. Satan is the leader of this deception and his job is to kill, steal and destroy. Even Christians are not always sure of their true nature, abilities and position in life.
BELIEVING THE WORD
The Word of God is in the Bible. The more we study God’s Word, the more we understand ourselves and our Father in heaven! When we know the Word, we accept it, speak it and act on it. Our faith increases and we grow in the Word. When we live as
an example, others become believers! We also must believe that God intends for us to be healed, successful and prosperous! We do not see it then believe it. We believe it then see it. This is true faith.

Mt 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Mt 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mt 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mt 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mt 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Mt 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mt 23:10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
Mt 23:11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
Mt 23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Ro 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
Ro 10:5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
Ro 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
Ro 10:7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
Ro 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
Ro 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Ro 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Phil 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
Phil 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
Phil 3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
Phil 3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.
Phil 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
Phil 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
