Dealing with extreme stress

NOT THAT MUCH IS REQUIRED OF US...
Mt 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

NEWS UPDATE:
Sadly, among U.S. soldiers and veterans, there are on average 22 suicides per day, and astute physicians have been asking how big a role psychiatric drugs might be playing. After all, as Time reported in 2008, “about 20,000 troops in Afghanistan and Iraq were on such medications,” roughly half on antidepressants and the other half on Ambien and similar sleeping pills. Add to that the fact that antidepressants’ suicidality warning label is aimed at “young adults ages 18 to 24″ – the core age group for the military – and the only reasonable conclusion is that the stresses and traumas of war, along with the hazards of the drugs, can be a lethal combination. HELP

Patriots, Veterans, Military
Do you realize how much your country loves you?

American citizens love their country. American citizens love the military men and women, the veterans and the patriots - and we rely on you for our freedom.

Sometimes we have leaders that turn their backs on veterans and soldiers. The USA is bigger than any one leader or any one perspective for 4 years or 8 years. The citizens of a country love the law of the land and they obey the Constitution. We protect our country from enemies foreign and domestic. This is what we swear to do, as patriots, soldiers, airmen, marines, sailors, national guard, veterans, immigrants, policemen, politicians and other leaders.

Average citizens are fighting a battle, also. We are working on elections, signing petitions, calling our representatives in Washington and we are writing emails. We are sharing our thoughts on social media and we fight for what is right. Our voices are heard. We rally and demonstrate. We support organizations that fight for us and we donate money so they can continue to work against a huge machine that is out of control. We are all fighting for America as it was conceived by our founding fathers.

Nothing is as it should be, right now. The idea of not fighting to win. The idea of being in countries fighting where we are not wanted. The media never telling the truth. Leaders playing games. A dismantled military where all righteous men are purged. Not being allowed to pray and have a Christian approach to being a soldier. Police being outfitted with military gear. These are the times we live in. These are the turbulent times and life will get more difficult before the Lord Jesus Christ returns.

We need you now more than ever. These are important times and you have a special role to play. Study the Word, share the Bible, fellowship with Christians, find a church and stay involved. Share your story, your pain, your challenges and your successes! We want to learn from you and hear your perspective.

2Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore

"Alone But Not Alone"

endure hardness,
as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

2Ti 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2Ti 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
2Ti 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
2Ti 2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
2Ti 2:5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.
2Ti 2:6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.
2Ti 2:7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

Jos 6:20 So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
